Our History
The foundation of our company dates back to 1971, when Tiernan Aeration Inc. was established in Amarillo. Over more than half a century, Tiernan built a reputation as a trusted leader in heavy-duty aeration system design and custom fabrication, providing rugged solutions built specifically to handle the demands of the agricultural industry.
A New Chapter: The 2025 Acquisition
In November 2025, Rolfes@Boone—a premier provider of grain quality, hazard monitoring, and temperature systems—officially acquired Tiernan Aeration Inc. This strategic partnership brought together two industry powerhouses which formed our new name: Rolfes@Tiernan.
By merging Rolfes@Boone’s comprehensive technological capabilities with Tiernan’s decades of manufacturing and custom fabrication expertise, the acquisition expanded our production capacity, broadened our sales territories, and created an unmatched suite of American-made grain conditioning systems. While our capabilities have grown, our local commitment remains unchanged—we continue to build every system right here in Amarillo, minimizing disruptions and serving our customers with the same hard-working values that built both legacy organizations.
