FANS
Centrifugal
3600 RPM centrifugal fans range from 5 horsepower to 50 horsepower and deliver a high amount of CFM at relatively high static pressure levels. The centrifugal fan is designed with a backward-incline wheel that is non-overloading and energy efficient.
1800 RPM centrifugal fans range from 7-1/2 horsepower to 20 horsepower and deliver a high amount of CFM at relatively low static pressure levels. Also designed with a backward-inclined wheel for maximum energy efficiency and non-overloading characteristics. The lower rotations per minute result in a lower decibel level for grain storage close to residential areas.
Tubeaxial
Ideal for ground pile applications, our tubeaxial fans, ranging from 3/4 Horsepower to 10 Horsepower, are designed to deliver maximum airflow to grain structures with relatively low static pressure levels. Fans can be installed for updraft or downdraft aeration systems depending upon the customer's request.
Ductwork
Full Round Aeration Duct
Corrugated, blank or perforated, galvanized aeration duct in 18 gauge to 14 gauge, ranging from 12" diameter to 30"diameter Tiernan sizes duct to ensure maximum efficiency. "X-Bracing" is available for structures with high grain depths to decrease the possibility of collapsed duct.
Half-Round Aeration Duct
Corrugated, blank or perforated, galvanized aeration duct in 18" diameter to 38" diameter, and gauges 18 to 14.
Manifold Systems
Manifold systems are useful when trying to air multiple bins using a single run of fans. Tiernan can design/manufacture a custom manifold aeration system to fit the specific needs of any facility.
Bar Grating/Drive-over Floors
Looking to unload flat storage with a front-end loader or other heavy equipment? We design bar grating/drive-over aeration floors to support the weight of the piece of equipment the user plans to use.
Flush Floor Cut Sheets
Corrugated, galvanized, 14 gauge flush floor cut sheets for flat bottom grain storage. Cut sheets come in different lengths up to 72". To ensure the flush floor cut sheets withstand deep grain depths, Tiernan also manufactures tunnel supports for different tunnel depths/widths.

We manufacture a full line of roof exhaust fans for updraft aeration systems. Fan sizing and style are dependent on CFM performance and available for all different types of storage facilities.
Vertical Mount End Wall Fans
Tiernan manufactures a 48" diameter, 5 horsepower, 1160 RPM, direct drive, end wall fan with shutters for the gable of your barn storage.
All fans are assembled and tested to ensure maximum efficiency before being shipped.
